I am privileged to have worked and lived in Santa Cruz County for over 32 years. I come from an educational background and taught high school for 35 years. Through the years I have developed a broad network of professionals with a wide range of expertise in our community to enhance your real estate experience. For the last two years I’ve been working with Robert Deacon (one of the top real estate producers in Santa Cruz County) and a number of investors on real estate opportunities. It is my strong belief that my expertise in media and technology will help create a very successful real estate experience for my clients. I bring the same advocacy, professionalism, and personal touch to my clients that I gave to my students.

One of my main contributions at Watsonville High School was that I developed and implemented a vocational computer program for migrant students as well as started a photography program. My love of photography led me to a professional career and was assistant photographer to Master Photographer Trini Contreras, who was the official portrait photographer for the Miss California Pageant. My other contribution was as the director of the Watsonville High School Video Academy where I oversaw a nationally recognized program for at risk students. I’ve been an instrumental leader in Santa Cruz County in the area of technology and media arts. Additionally, I have written several books on integrating technology with curriculum in the classroom and I have a Master’s in Education from Cal State L.A.

Santa Cruz has been my home along with my wife of 30 years, Susan, who teaches at Shoreline Middle School. We have four children, Jason, who works at Seascape Golf Club and attends Monterey Peninsula College. Raquel, a graduate of San Jose State, has studied extensively abroad, and traveled the world but still chooses to call Santa Cruz her home. Our oldest daughter, Kristina, is a nurse for La Mirada School District is married with three children and our son Chris, who is in the mortgage industry with two children.
